The book focuses on H.D.'s experience as an analysan with Sigmund Freud and the esoteric tradition that provided the poet with an interrelated framewok of quest. In a first part, the author reveals how H.D. used aspects of Freud's theories about women and his diagnostics of her symptoms to overturn his misogyny and develop an original female voice. In a second part, the author examines the involvement in a syncretist religious Tradition - Good condition.
